I have two grown daughters, an amazing guy who used to be a Fire Fighter in NY, and is now in Pest Control (cause Florida has lots of bugs,lol).We (HE) also own two firetrucks and collect antique Fire memorabilia and equipment. I used to be an emergency medical dispatcher for Tampa Fire Rescue, but am now a 911 operator for a police dept in Pinellas County, Fl. I love to cook, garden, read, sew, and craft, although it never seems like I have enough time in the day. We also have 4 lil yappers running around the house (1 Yorkie, 2 Chihuahua', and 1 Chi-Pom mix) and 2 lizards(that belong to my kids
I am excited about this year's Thing a day..last year I just had too much going on. I want to try new things this year, so I'm excited to see what others post..hoping for inspiration I guess. I have a goal of at least one new recipe a week over the next 4 weeks, will try baking a loaf of bread each week, want to make at least one Christmas card a week, and then just general scrapping, crafts, and sewing.
Well..this will be my first post..my previous one doidn't take. Unfortunately I can't upload my picture, but the first thing a day is a Christmas card I mad last night. i hope to get it posted tomorrow along with the Valentines Day card I started. ...note to self..make sure your camera has batteries, lol
